Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for real-world optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction for scalable AI models
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for ML workloads
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at QIP/NeurIPS
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum machine learning principles
- Secure multi-million dollar grants from NSF and DARPA for quantum AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, or Physics with ML specialization
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in top-tier quantum/ML conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (VQE, QAOA, Grover's variants) for optimization
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing libraries
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of translating theoretical models into practical implementations
