Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable, high-performance AI architectures for the Project 2026 initiative, focusing on LLMs and generative models.
- System Optimization: Oversee the optimization of model inference and training pipelines to ensure low latency and high throughput in production environments.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Research Integration: Evaluate and integrate the latest advancements in machine learning research into our core product offerings.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks in AI development and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, security experts, and business stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and API specifications to facilitate knowledge transfer across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field from a top-tier university.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Ray) is required.
- AI Expertise: Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale neural networks and transformer models.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and devise innovative engineering solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Professional certification in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) or AI/ML is a plus.
