As a Principal AI Architect in San Francisco, you will be responsible for designing robust, secure, and high-performance systems that integrate quantum-ready algorithms with advanced machine learning models. You will lead a team of elite engineers to solve complex problems that define the next era of artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable AI infrastructure specifically tailored for the 2026 technology landscape.
- Lead the integration of quantum computing primitives into standard machine learning pipelines.
- Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and coding conventions across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical blueprints.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural feasibility studies.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in generative AI, autonomous systems, and edge computing.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture with a strong focus on AI/ML and distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust.
- Proven experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, and vector databases.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing AI governance, ethics, and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
