Job Description
Are you ready to architect the intelligence that will define the year 2026? Aether Systems is seeking a visionary Principal AI Architect to lead our cutting-edge research division. We are building the foundational models that will power the next generation of autonomous systems, quantum-enhanced computing, and sustainable energy solutions.
In this role, you won't just write code; you will shape the future of human-machine interaction. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI breakthroughs and scalable enterprise infrastructure. If you are driven by the challenge of solving complex problems at the intersection of neural networks and quantum mechanics, we want to hear from you.
Why join Aether Systems?
- Work on projects with a $1B+ potential impact on global infrastructure.
- Access to the latest hardware, including next-gen GPU clusters and quantum processors.
- Competitive equity package and a top-tier benefits package.
Key Objectives:
Our mission is to achieve Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) by 2026. You will be at the forefront of this mission, ensuring our systems are safe, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the development of proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents tailored for 2026-era computational constraints.
- System Architecture: Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency AI inference pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Quantum Integration: Collaborate with quantum physics teams to integrate quantum error correction algorithms into classical neural network architectures.
- Strategic Vision: Define the technical roadmap for AI evolution, anticipating industry shifts and regulatory changes up to 2026.
- Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture by mentoring junior architects and data scientists.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and validate novel AI paradigms in sandbox environments before full-scale deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal architect role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Hands-on experience with quantum computing libraries (Cirq, Qiskit) is a major plus.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a focus on rapid iteration and delivery.
