As a Night Shift NOC Engineer, you will be the first line of defense for our critical infrastructure. You will monitor network traffic, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless operations for our clients 24/7. Responsibilities
- Monitor Network Health: Continuously monitor system performance, network traffic, and server health to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services.
- Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve network outages and anomalies immediately during the night shift.
- Security Management: Analyze firewall logs and security alerts to mitigate threats and ensure data integrity.
- Escalation & Communication: Document incidents clearly and escalate complex issues to senior engineering teams during handover.
- System Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, patch updates, and configuration changes outside of peak business hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) or Network Engineering.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or similar networking certifications are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Cisco routers/switches, Linux/Windows Server administration, and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG).
- Availability: Must be willing to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
