Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 person night shift team including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts and system reconciliation
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols for all warehouse operations
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and lean methodologies
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or operational issues
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for productivity metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
