Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 person night shift team, ensuring optimal productivity and safety protocols
- Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts, audits, and documentation
- Coordinate loading/unloading of freight using forklifts and material handling equipment
- Investigate and resolve operational issues during non-business hours
- Train and mentor staff on warehouse procedures and safety standards
- Collaborate with day-shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, incidents, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Proficient in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent communication skills for team leadership and reporting
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
