Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 person night shift team including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement efficient picking/packing processes
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety protocols throughout the facility
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Optimize workflow using warehouse management systems (WMS) technology
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate with third-party logistics partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supply chain management experience with night shift leadership
- OSHA certification and forklift operator license required
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional team coordination
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Previous experience with high-volume distribution centers preferred
