Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 night shift staff, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity
- Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse safety protocols
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational handovers
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety procedures
- Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance throughput
- Resolve escalated customer service issues during overnight operations
- Generate performance reports and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- OSHA certification and forlift operation certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift coordination
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred
