Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse activities during the night shift, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct shift briefings and end-of-shift reporting to ensure seamless communication with the day shift team.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Enforce quality control standards for all outgoing shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure machinery is operational.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Previous experience in a high-volume distribution center is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
