Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to strict quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to maintain a secure working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the morning shift team to ensure a seamless transition of operations.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in a work environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training provided).
