Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock integrity.
- Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy materials and stock within the facility.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping and adhere to strict quality control standards.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring proper documentation and safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to resolve operational issues quickly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software quickly.
- Focus: Ability to maintain high concentration levels during night shifts.
