Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and patrols to ensure safety and security
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency incidents following protocol
- Verify credentials and access for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 7 days)
- Minimum 1 year security experience or military background
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
