Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze patient samples during night shifts
- Operate medical equipment (e.g., hematology analyzers, chemistry systems)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with night shift nursing staff for coordinated patient care
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Train new technicians on night shift procedures
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Current ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year clinical lab experience
- Ability to work independently during night hours
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends/holidays
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
