The Role
As a Night Shift IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our internal systems. You will ensure business continuity during off-hours by resolving technical issues and maintaining server health. We offer comprehensive training for candidates with a basic understanding of technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and respond to critical alerts during the night shift.
- Assist remote users via phone and email with password resets and account access.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management and backups.
- Document all IT incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and office software.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues without direct supervision.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Reliable transportation required (no public transit dependency).
