Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for servers, networks, and enterprise applications during night shift hours
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve security vulnerabilities and hardware failures
- Document all IT incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover and continuity of operations
- Deploy and configure new workstations, software updates, and security patches
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery drills
- Train end-users on new technologies and security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience with night shift or 24/7 environment exposure
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong diagnostic skills for hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) and ITIL processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site support in DC metro area
