As a Night Shift DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining our cloud-native ecosystem, ensuring high availability, and implementing robust automation strategies. You will be the guardian of our systems during the night, handling critical deployments and incident response with precision and speed.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues during off-peak hours.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Collaborate with the development team to optimize application performance.
- Ensure security compliance and patching during the night shift window.
- Conduct on-call rotations for critical system alerts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
