Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient information accurately in EHR systems
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Schedule patient appointments and manage correspondence
- Perform basic vital sign measurements and patient screenings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CMA/RMA certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid Washington State Healthcare Assistant certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Background check and drug screening required
