Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document patient information in EHR systems
- Administer injections, perform phlebotomy, and collect specimens for lab testing
- Manage inventory and ensure examination rooms are stocked and sanitized
- Coordinate patient scheduling and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CPR certification and Ohio MA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-7pm)
