Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of quantum computing systems and control layers for Project 2026.
- Collaborate with quantum physicists to translate theoretical algorithms into executable code and hardware interfaces.
- Define system requirements, performance benchmarks, and scalability strategies for quantum processors.
- Mentor and lead a cross-functional engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Ensure system security, error correction protocols, and fault tolerance in quantum environments.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum mechanics and software development to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and qubit manipulation.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages such as Qiskit or Cirq.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a highly experimental and iterative environment.
