Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to maximize qubit coherence and minimize error rates in software stack.
- Mentor a team of junior quantum researchers and define best practices for quantum software development and testing.
- Translate complex theoretical physics concepts into executable quantum circuits using industry-standard frameworks.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and analysis to drive continuous improvement of algorithmic efficiency.
- Communicate technical findings and architectural strategies to stakeholders across product, engineering, and executive teams.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in quantum computing, specifically with frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane, or Forest.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithmic complexity.
- Experience with hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and experimental environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentation.
