In this role, you will lead the architectural design of quantum algorithms, ensuring they are scalable, fault-tolerant, and ready for real-world deployment on next-generation hardware. You will work in a collaborative, elite research environment alongside world-class physicists and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant quantum computers.
- Optimize quantum circuits to minimize error rates and maximize qubit utilization.
- Collaborate directly with hardware engineering teams to co-design algorithms for specific quantum processor architectures.
- Lead research initiatives into quantum error correction and mitigation techniques.
- Develop libraries and tools to abstract complex quantum logic for application developers.
- Mentor and guide a team of quantum software engineers and researchers.
- Present research findings and technical architecture at leading quantum computing conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing or theoretical computer science.
- Expert proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Strong command of linear algebra, probability theory, and functional analysis.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, Google Cirq).
- Proven ability to translate theoretical physics concepts into executable software code.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
