Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps by synthesizing global tech trends, academic research, and market intelligence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in quantum computing, biotech, and neural interfaces
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive stakeholders with data-driven scenario planning
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for AI and autonomous systems development
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Present strategic foresight findings at industry conferences and board meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic plans for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, and causal layered analysis
