Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of scalable AI infrastructure and generative model pipelines.
- Model Development: Spearhead research and implementation of state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer architectures.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce inference costs and improve latency for real-time AI applications.
- AI Ethics & Safety: Establish guidelines and frameworks for responsible AI deployment, ensuring bias mitigation and data privacy.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with product leaders to translate business goals into technical roadmaps for the 2026 release cycle.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years dedicated to AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; proven experience training LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude architectures).
- System Design: Strong background in distributed systems, high-availability systems, and cloud-native architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
