Nexus Horizon Labs is pioneering the technological advancements expected by 2026. We are seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to define the technical roadmap for our upcoming generative AI suite and autonomous systems. In this role, you will move beyond simple implementation to architecting the foundational systems that will scale globally.
You will work at the intersection of research and production engineering, ensuring that our AI models are not only state-of-the-art but also ethical, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for 2026 AI initiatives, aligning long-term research with product goals.
- Design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Lead the development and deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI agents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced AI solutions into the core product.
- Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Establish best practices for model explainability, bias mitigation, and data governance.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in AI/ML architecture.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning principles.
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from conception to production.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
