Job Description
We are on a mission to define the technological landscape of the future. 2026 Systems is seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to spearhead our next-generation generative AI initiatives.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering, building scalable architectures that anticipate the needs of the next decade. You will lead a world-class team of engineers and researchers dedicated to solving complex problems in large language models (LLMs) and autonomous agents.
If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible with artificial intelligence and want to leave a lasting impact on the industry, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure AI infrastructure pipelines from the ground up.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the fine-tuning and optimization of large-scale foundation models for high-performance inference.
- Team Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of innovation and technical excellence by mentoring senior engineers and conducting code reviews.
- Research Integration: Translate cutting-edge research papers into practical, deployable software solutions.
- Strategic Planning: Define the technical roadmap for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and data scientists to define product requirements and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; proven experience with MLOps platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, MLflow, Seldon).
- Big Data: Experience handling and processing massive datasets using distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Databricks.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and serverless architectures.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize system performance under pressure.
