Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Lead AI Architect to help build the technological foundation for the year 2026. As we approach a new era of generative intelligence, Nexus Horizon AI is seeking a pioneer who can bridge the gap between theoretical research and scalable production systems. In this role, you will define the architectural patterns for next-generation Large Language Models (LLMs) and autonomous agents, ensuring our solutions are robust, ethical, and future-proof.
Why Join Us?
We are backed by top-tier VC funding and are on a mission to redefine human-computer interaction. You will have the autonomy to experiment with cutting-edge research and the responsibility to implement it at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable deep learning infrastructure capable of supporting billions of inference requests daily.
- Lead the research and implementation of proprietary 2026-era AI architectures, focusing on efficiency and reasoning capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to integrate AI models into core products.
- Optimize model latency, throughput, and memory usage to ensure real-time user experiences.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines for ML models, and monitoring.
- Advocate for AI safety and ethical guidelines within the engineering team.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI research papers and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field from a top-tier university.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in designing and deploying production-level AI/ML systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for the future of AI and a track record of innovative thinking.
