Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone and remote desktop during weekend hours.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Manage and prioritize the helpdesk ticket queue to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and server maintenance.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with the on-site team to escalate critical incidents and document resolutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
