Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets to ensure rapid resolution and high user satisfaction.
- Perform regular system maintenance, software updates, and security patching for workstations and servers.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including workstation setup and account configuration.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base to improve future support efficiency.
- Collaborate with the senior engineering team to troubleshoot complex network connectivity problems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and common peripherals.
- Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse users.
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel between office locations.
