Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and critical care for ER patients across all acuity levels
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during trauma activations and codes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with 100% compliance
- Preceptor new staff and implement evidence-based practice improvements
- Ensure strict adherence to JCAHO and OSHA safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license with minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN considered with 5+ years ER exp)
- Proven ability to perform under high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly valued)
- No disciplinary actions on nursing license
