Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry trajectories
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework with quarterly strategic updates
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product roadmaps with emerging innovations (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce scenario-based strategic plans for potential futures, including risk mitigation protocols
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships
- Present future-state visions to executive leadership and key stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish KPIs to track technology adoption readiness and market impact
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or technology consulting with future-focused experience
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and futures methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIF) highly desirable
