- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural network governance
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging tech risks/opportunities
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on joint innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published research in IEEE Spectrum or Nature Futures journal preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for speculative technologies
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization cycles
