Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Design and execute R&D roadmaps for next-gen computing and AI systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives
- Present technological forecasts and recommendations to stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage cross-functional teams of researchers and engineers
- Monitor global tech trends and patent landscapes for competitive advantage
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for breakthrough applications
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in R&D leadership with demonstrated impact on emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or biotechnology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong track record of translating complex concepts into commercial products
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
