Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Create executive-ready future trend reports with quantitative/qualitative data validation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions for emerging markets
- Monitor global tech disruptions (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and assess competitive implications
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, SFI) preferred
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
