Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product innovation and market positioning strategies
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and strategic briefs on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate adaptation)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability through rapid experimentation
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry influencers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in regulatory, ethical, and socio-economic domains
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic initiatives shaped through futures thinking
