As a key member of our Global Futures Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and industry disruptors to identify emerging paradigms, quantify disruptive opportunities, and translate visionary concepts into actionable strategies that position Horizon as the industry's North Star.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying 3-5 paradigm-shifting opportunities across quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create resilient 5-year roadmaps
- Develop quantitative models forecasting technology adoption curves and market disruption vectors
- Present strategic insights to the Board of Directors and C-suite with compelling visual narratives
- Establish the Global Futures Lab's thought leadership through white papers, TED-style talks, and industry panels
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers while maintaining cutting-edge expertise in exponential technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy with proven impact on enterprise transformation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent with specialization in exponential technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic forecasts realized within 15% accuracy
- Mastery of scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi Method) and quantitative modeling tools
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready narratives
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Deep network of relationships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, or similar innovation ecosystems
