Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and regulatory changes
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external investors
- Collaborate with product teams to embed future-proofing features
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and market impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and curate innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or emerging technology roles
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences
- Proficiency in data visualization and predictive analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Portfolio of strategic roadmaps implemented in Fortune 500 companies
