Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate implications into actionable strategic frameworks
- Develop horizon-scanning protocols to detect emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and contingency plans
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefs for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026-2030 market opportunities
- Establish KPIs to track progress toward strategic future-state milestones
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful innovation initiatives
