Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends, technological breakthroughs, and socio-economic indicators to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning models and strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions using emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI)
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations to stakeholders and industry forums
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies into organizational DNA
- Monitor and evaluate competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future markets
- Author whitepapers and industry reports on future trends and their strategic implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist role with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Proven track record of translating foresight into profitable business strategies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) or related professional designation
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-shaping initiatives
