Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology convergence (AI, biotech, quantum, climate) to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026+ business environments across 15+ industries
- Lead client workshops translating foresight into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Author white papers on societal impact of emerging technologies (published in MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Build predictive algorithms using alternative data sources (satellite imagery, patent analytics, dark web trends)
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and other futurism forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios (e.g., for Fortune 500 companies)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and cross-impact matrix analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and statistical modeling (Python/R)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
