Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models to quantify risk/opportunity landscapes
- Produce executive-ready trend briefings and innovation roadmaps with quantified impact assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state priorities and resource allocation
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market needs
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present findings to executive leadership and board members with data-driven storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with portfolio of foresight deliverables
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, AFS) preferred
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategy and disruption
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
