Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scan data to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Produce evidence-based trend reports and innovation roadmaps for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers to co-create future-ready solutions
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social vectors that could influence technological adoption
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-focused initiatives
