Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic innovation frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats through data-driven foresight
- Design and execute R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proof methodologies
- Publish thought leadership on industry transformation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to market
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent preferred
- Strong data analytics and scenario modeling skills
- Experience with agile/lean innovation methodologies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
