Our Austin headquarters offers a state-of-the-art innovation lab with direct access to venture capital partners and government tech initiatives. This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and includes executive stakeholder engagement across Fortune 500 partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 strategic innovation framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption and measure ROI against industry benchmarks
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government tech initiatives
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and investor boards
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical technology deployment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on emerging tech trends (quantum/AI/biotech focus preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive domains
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
