Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, neurotech) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops translating foresight into product roadmaps
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for C-suite decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism research
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation publications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience advising Fortune 500 on digital transformation
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
