Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to navigate future uncertainties
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future of work and technology ethics
- Present findings to investors and board members to secure future funding
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with Delphi methodology, horizon scanning, and trend mapping frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
