Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological, societal, and market shifts through 2026 horizon scanning
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate resilience solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development and business strategy
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend briefs for C-suite stakeholders and industry thought leadership
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Curate a global network of futurists, scientists, and disruptors for continuous intelligence gathering
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research leadership
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating innovation strategy implementations with measurable ROI
