Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to inform long-term innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Author trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible product innovations
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling narrative visualization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work translated into business impact
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
