Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence domains
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Facilitate C-level workshops on exponential technologies and paradigm shifts
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for rapid prototyping of future solutions
- Author thought leadership on emerging socioeconomic impacts of technological convergence
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with $10M+ R&D budgets
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial breakthroughs
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Published research on technological singularity or paradigm shift impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
