Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for organizational decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present findings to executive leadership and translate complex insights into actionable strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Integrate future-focused principles into product development lifecycle and business operations
- Monitor and evaluate innovation portfolio effectiveness against strategic foresight benchmarks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technological forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation challenges
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight methodologies applied to real-world business problems
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Shaping Alternative Futures) preferred
